THE SYNOPSIS
Two evil men and one mysterious man meet by chance at a bar. After some conversation over some drinks the two men rob the other in a routine hold up. What they will found out is that it was not a routine hold up their lives will be forever changed. Easy Mark is a short film written and directed by Phil Vaglia. It is based off an Alfred Hitchcock short story. The film was shot on location in Charlotte, NC. They used a Panasonic 24p camera as you can tell by the footage and wrapped a little over a year ago. After waiting for his over booked editor to begin post, Phil wore impatient and asked me to cut it. I of course obliged as I love cinema and thought it would be another movie to add to repertoire. I will fill you in on techniques, challenges and enjoyments of the endeavor as I go along.
Here are some clips as I piece the film together.
SCENE 1 -INT.EUROPA CLUB - NIGHT
SCENE 4 -INT.RESTAURANT - NIGHT(FLASHBACK)
SCENE 5 - INT.RESTAURANT - LATER(FLASHBACK)
SCENE 7 - INT.EUROPA BAR - PRESENT
SCENE 14 - EXT.WOODS - NIGHT *This is still a rough cut. Sound has not been cleaned up.
