The weekend of the 23rd of June has now been infamously stamped as the 'NC Incident.' OK, so a wedding video is a wedding video, but not always. Mandi and I's wedding marks the final story of a trilogy so to speak. The first was the big wedding of Payton's Godparents, Scott & Stephanie, where my friends from childhood an I travelled to Jersey, (Steph's hometown,) for a wedding weekend that turned into a a week long road trip. I filmed it of course and it found me cutting through 21 hours of footage to piece together a long and winded two and a half documentary out of it.

Then last year, I travelled to Las Vegas to join my extended family from LA for Ryan & Jess' wedding that didn't turn into a week long gambling or Hoover Dam documentary, but seven hours of footage later we had more than just a standard 'wedding video.' We had a fun little movie.

With Scott and Stephanie's vid entitled, "The Jersey Bootleg," and Ryan and Jess' being "Vegas Wedding," I found it only fitting the final installment bridging my best friends' big days to mine have a state or city name in it. Hence, "The NC Incident." Seven tapes of actual weekend footage, twenty tapes of Archival Footage and over 1500 pictures left for my disposal framing the events between that wonderful Thursday to Sunday, should make for great editing and viewing fun.Check the site periodically for Video Clips or Photo Galleries as they are constructed over the next month.
