We have all seen them… We are referring to the badly shot, edited, and quality of the local commercials that Charter Communications and Time Warner shoots for companies, advertising them in thirty second spots in between shows at all times of the day. They charge you anywhere from $200 to $600. This is a cheap price for production and packaging for television time, but they recoup their discounts on production by overcharging your company for the airtime. They can do this because you do not have many cable companies, (if any,) to choose from. The airtime prices vary, but are all very expensive no matter when you decide to promote your business.

This is why, when you are paying that astronomical amount for the airtime, you should make all thirty seconds or minute count. This is where Collateral Media comes in. We shoot, edit and package your commercial for nearly the same price, but the difference is that we care about your business and use creativity, quality and care to your commercial.  We work closely with your company’s officials to make sure that your business’ statement is conveyed in a unique fashion that catches the eyes of the public.

Do not think they are giving you a deal on shooting your commercial, because although they may, they shoot on recycled Beta tapes, edit your spot using dull titles and template-stock computer graphics with absolutely no collaboration or ingenuity focusing on what you want to convey the local consumer.

Our Head of Creative Services has stuck by this motto since starting this company and has “battled” Charter Media over Television Spots for three years. Charter and YBM fight through bids from company’s trying to get their business. YBM loses sometimes, but the times that they win, the clients are happy and relieved that they made the right decision.
